1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FlitKey desktop software or software packages, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the software.

2. Software License Grant

FlitKey is open-source software licensed under the MIT License. You are granted a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to download, use, copy, modify, merge, publish, and distribute the codebase for personal or commercial use, subject to the conditions of that licence.

All features are included at no cost. There are no editions, no licence keys, no activation, and no feature gating.

3. No Paid Tier

FlitKey is provided free of charge. We do not sell licences or subscriptions and do not collect payment information. Consequently there are no purchase terms, no refund obligations, and no billing disputes — see Pricing.

A paid “Pro” edition was previously described on this site. It was never sold and has been withdrawn. Should a paid option be introduced in future, the core will remain free and MIT-licensed, and these Terms will be updated before any payment is accepted.

4. User Responsibilities & Permitted Use

You agree not to use FlitKey to execute malicious keylogging scripts, bypass system security controls, or generate unauthorized spam. You are solely responsible for managing your local configuration files and backup data.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Support
